"Jascha Nemtsov presents himself as a worthy descendant of Liszt and his pupils",
so the German magazine "Fono Forum" on the occasion of Nemtsov's CD with works by Franz Liszt and his "grandson-student" Juliusz Wolfsohn.
Nemtsov gives concerts throughout the world and is particularly interested in enrichment of the concert
repertoire through music of unjustly forgotten composers. One of his most important discoveries is the work of the Russian composer
Vsevolod Zaderatsky who was persecuted during the Stalin era. Jascha Nemtsov produced a CD anthology with Zaderatsky's piano works including his phenomenal cycle of 24 Preludes & Fugues in all keys that was composed in the Gulag in 1937/1939:
By now Jascha Nemtsov recorded almost forty CDs with numerous world premieres.
