Music of Alberto Hemsi with
Tehila Nini Goldstein & Jascha Nemtsov

The young Israeli exceptional singer Tehila Nini Goldstein and the pianist Jascha Nemtsov have been working together for seven years now. Their first joint project was the rediscovery of the outstanding German-Jewish composer Jacob Schoenberg with the double CD "Another Schoenberg", which has attracted a lot of international attention. Among other things, the two musicians share their interest in Jewish music of the 20th century. They have designed several concert programs with works by Jewish composers such as Mieczyslaw Weinberg, Mosche Milner, or Joseph Achron:

Works by non-Jewish composers with Jewish themes, such as the famous Kaddish by Maurice Ravel also belong to their repertoire:

They are currently implementing their most important project: the world premiere CD recordings of the entire cycle Coplas sefardies by Alberto Hemsi. The first recording session is scheduled for October 2017. The production is a cooperation of the radio company rbb Kultur, Hänssler Classic and the ACHAVA Festival Thuringia. Some parts from the cycle Coplas sefardies have already been presented successfully in their concerts:
